This component is required for every BOB board but in what is a common story these days, the pandemic has been making life difficult. Supplies of many electronic components are poor. This IC is available from Digikey and Mouser but the delivery cost is more than the cost of the chip. Note that since January 2021, in only six months, this IC has gone up in price 58%.
I bought a small quantity for myself and our local club and can pass them on. The ICs are delicate and I am passing them on “as is”, no warranties nor guarantees. I am not a retailer – just a hobbyist. These items have passed through my hands from RS Components or Mouser and they should be considered as used items although none have been anywhere near a soldering iron.
